The Mount Agung Trekking is one of the unique adventure activities with the start of the tour at 4 am. Mount Agung is the mountain with the highest peak on the island of Bali. This oldest volcano has an altitude of 3142 meters above sea level and is located in Rendang district, Karangasem, Bali.

Mount Agung itself is a volcano with a strato volcano type. Where on this mountain there is a very large and deep crater. Until now this mountain which is very sacred to Hindus in Bali is still an active volcano. In fact, not infrequently the crater from this mountain emits smoke and water vapor.

On the western slope of Mount Agung there is the largest temple in Bali known as the Besakih temple. When viewed from Besakih Temple, this mountain looks majestic with its perfectly pointed cone shape.

Although from various sides the shape looks sharp, but actually the shape of this mountain peak is elongated. Then at the end it ends in a circular and wide crater.

  • Estimation we arriving at the Pasar Agung trekking point. We will meet our local guide, a brief briefing and the climb begins

  • Arrive at the second peak of Mount Agung (Peak Pasar Agung 2,850 masl)

07.00 am – Start walk down

  • We start walk down to pasar Agung start point – will be arrive around 11 am. please prepare your energy by take a rest on the way back.
